Etsy recently released this neat feature just in time for the holidays.
It allows you to connect via facebook and choose a friend you want to buy a gift for and the machines displays etsy search terms for your friend’s likes*.
I think this might be the smartest ecommerce use of facebook connect I’ve seen to date.
*some of my friends dont have any results while others who ‘like’ websites result in searches for foursquare, aviary, glue, etc
Definitely cool.

(Also, pretty trippy to see four friends and one ex in the FB friends list in the splash photo. Who made this feature??)
